Has search stop working?

I tried to seach for topic that I had read
on Hot Deals (and Free Stuff) and got
zero hits.

I searched for "31" for the Baskin & Robins
.31 cent night and no hits. I had to page
throught list to find post.

Tried 'Ben' on Free Deals with two hits, neither
Ben and Jerrys. So I made my B&J post.
Searched again and my post was not found.

I don't think that search is working correctly.

About the numbers thing: Searching for '802.11g' returns no threads and no error message

Is searching for numbers EVER going to work?

searches still broken..

About the Ben thing: when I search for Ben in Free Stuff I get your post. Dunno why you didn't.

I did not put the double quotes around the 31 when I
was searching for it last night. (I found it by browsing
from the top down to page 4.)

I just tried again with "31", ".31", "0.31" and "$0.31" at HD
and none of those found "Baskin Robbins $0.31 night".

I will remember to use quotes around numerics in the future.

Who knows what happens in the wee hours at AnandTech's HD.
I remember trying looking for Ben a few times on FD before I
posted, but I only did so after browsing all of the entries.

I miss it when the free stuff was mixed with the deal, but
time moves on.

Thanks for all that you do and all of the great deals that
you have posted. You have saved me some money! Thanks!

BTW, have some ice cream on me tomorrow and Wednesday! 🙂
