Just got PC together about week ago. Still testing and benchmarking different setups. Was running at 146FSB and added 2 extra fans into case. Turned it on and got this message:

A problem has been detected & Windows has been shut down to prevent damage to your computer.

UNMOUNTABLE_BOOT_VOLUME

If this is first time you've seen this stop error screen, restart your computer. If this screen appears again follow these steps:

Check to make sure any new hardware or software is properly installed. If this is a new installation, ask your hardware or software manufacturer for any Windows updates you might need.

If problems continue, disable & remove any newly installed hardware or software. Disable BIOS memory options such as caching or shadowing. If you need to use safe mode to remove or disable components, restart your computer, Press F8 ........................ etc.

OH DEAR,
I am using IBM 60GXP on Epox 8K7A. I heard that are not good with high PCI. But I was not very high atall. What are my chances of RMA it??

Before you go looking for a new HD, did you check to make sure your cables were firmly connected? You may have bumped something loose when putting the new fans in.

Yes I double checked that.
Thing is it is detecting HD okay because the OS starts off with the Advanced startup menu.
I then choose Normal Windows or even safe mode and it says this.
Tried removing fans etc.....

I am thinking off another drive as I won't to up the FSB anyway.

Firstly, did you set all your overclocked components back to stock or below? If so, did you try booting up with another hard drive (before going out and buying a new one)? Try that if possible. If it still doesn't work with another HD, well, don't buy a new HD. :)

I only thought about getting another HD so I could up the FSB without the IBM failing constantly.

I knocked back to normal FSB 133.
I suspect a reinstall may fix.
