Has NE1 else noticed that President Bush always uses the word "resolve" when he's flustered?

I've noticed this a lot. When he's talking off the top of his head about "difficult" times be it at home or abroad, he usually pauses, looks around and then throws in the word "resolve" for no apparent reason.

I dunno, just a thought. It kind of hit me again today as I was watching the press secretary, cuz he did the same thing.

I've noticed this a lot. When liberals are talking about Bush, whether it be in OT or P&N, they throw out the "Bush is dumb" argument for no apparent reason.

I dunno, just a thought. It kind of hit me again today as I was reading P&N, because NFS4 is doing it.

Any thoughts on what he actually said NFS4? Or are we just going to criticise HOW he says it?

I'm confused. Where in my post did I bash Bush or call him dumb?

Careful NFS4, the NeoCons are getting more desperate by the day as the reign of their Fearless Liar draws to a close.

Just check out the posts in here and you'll see.

FWIW, yeah, I've noticed it. His Dad spoke in a similar fashion, in sort of a clipped, disjointed way.

Yeah, Crimson ought to lie down and rest a bit, he seems a bit edgy. :D

i think it's good public speaking; better than filling in spaces w/ 'um' or a lying bight of the lower lip.

he's not calling bush dumb, if anything it's a good political maneuver to try to keep America focus on the 'resolve' of sticking w/ bush.

Maybe I'm confused then. Was there no point at all to your post then? What exactly was your point in the original message? Just to ask people if he used the word "resolve" a lot? Doesn't seem like a very interesting topic to me.

Who are you to determine what's interesting? I was just pointing out something that I noticed in his speeches and was wondering if anyone else picked up on it.

Sounds like you're the one with the problem...or chip on your shoulder at least.

i think it's like a mantra, it calms him down. it reminds of eddie murphy in bowfinger telling himself "keep it together, keep it together".
