has Napster been functioning alright lately?

Have you noticed how many people are connected these days? Currently I see 12982 libraries available, which means that many people are logged in. It's carrying nearly 10 terabytes of MP3's (though obviously those aren't stored on a central server), over 2.3 million songs.

If I can't connect on the first try, I try once or twice more, then just give up until I happen to come back to the computer again.

It's takes me a couple tries to connect, but other than that, it's fine.

EDIT: Yeah, it's amazing how many people are on. Too bad no one will pay the coming monthly fee...

It works the same as normal for me. Sometimes I have to try more than others to connect.

I've benn having problems with it for weeks, so I just went back to the good 'ole reliable FTP

i remember a couple of months ago, me and my friend would try to see who sees 1Terabyte of mp3s first

No problem whatsoever. I use Napigator to instantly connect to the Napster server of my choice (generally the one with the most files and the lowest ping).
