Has my power supply failed?

Hey guys, after leaving my computer on for 4 days straight this week (i leave it on for long periods of time), I shut it down for about 3-4 hours and when I tried to turn it back on, it won't. When I turn it on, it will spin the fans for a split second and then shut down completely. Everytime I remove the plug and put it back in, and turn it on, the fans spin for one second. I tried using a spare 250W power supply, but its pretty weak and don't think it can power my system. I get a long beep, followed by multiple short beeps (not sure how many) using the 250W power supply, but the fans start spinning. The original power supply is an Enermax 430W.

Before I go out and get a new power supply, can someone tell me whether this is a power supply failure, or a mobo/vid card/ram problem? I'm about to take my whole system apart and clean it, then try it again.

I'd say PSU is bad. I had the same prob w/ a system I built when the PSU was dead. Replaced it and everything was fine.

one thing you could check, to help determine if it's the psu or not is to disconnect all but one HD. In other words (using the 250) disconnect the floppy, add'l HD's, cd roms and so on. The 250 should be able to handle that assuming it's a health 250 psu. If you still get the same beeps I'd look into the beeps before spending money on another psu.
