Has microwave popcorn exceeded the quality of regular popcorn?

As I sit and eat a bag of ACTII mini-bags 😛

I think MW popcorn is sooooo much better than it was 2-3 years ago, it has almost become silly to buy regular popcorn.

mini-bags rule.

no. that 'butter flavor' crap they add in there is disgusting. what you need is some salted butter, maybe with a slight sprinkle of salt on top. did you ever have the 'corn on the cob' flavor? that stuff has a smell all its own. makes you wonder...

Poll? But yes, it has. Personally I just finished a very tasty bag of ACT III (or whatever the hell it is) movie style butter popcorn a few hours ago. All about the butter 🙂

Real popcorn is still WAY better. But its mostly because of the real butter. I suppose you could melt some yourself and pour it, but its not the same.

What's regular popcorn? The one you pop on the stove top or the one at the theaters? I like mine flavored but not dripping with butter like at the theater. Microwaved rocks

Regular popcorn would be the kind that you buy in the clear bag thats just kernels. You could cook in in a hot air popper, or stove top, or something.

I personally cant stand movie popcorn, unless you can find it w/ no butter like substance on it.

stove top corn is sooo good, but not very convenient. well, maybe if you know what you're doing.

and real fresh butter = sooo much better than any butter flavor i've ever had.

orville's light kettle corn is very good tho
