has longhorn beta version been leaked?

i friend just IM'd me saying he is getting longhorn better 4015 off a friend, who told him he tested it and "it has many bugs and is not complete"


i havent really been following this stuff at all, but i still feel this is way too early for leakage?

i guess i'll find out for sure when he tests it for himself, but i thought i'd check to see what people here know




and please, no flames telling me to "kick his ass" for piracy, i really don't care

Yah, it's out there, and I even tried it just to see what it looks like.

Longhorn has a lot of new features to it, so I wouldn't expect it before q4 2004 or 2005. It's got a Yukon based filesystem, XML driven display, and I'm sure there's gonna be al ot of DRM or Paladdin based technology too.

I still haven't figured out who leaks these things or why....but it's definitely out there. Some ppl even claim to be running it full time now, although I don't see how.
