has everyone seen this yet?

Wow, back in the day we got excited over huge crunching farms of CPUs, now we get excited with GPU farms. 😎

Well, let's find a country with cheap electricity, each buy a single GTX 295 or motherboard, chip in, and run it in that country, and give him a run for his money. Wait... we already tried that and it didn't work. 😛 What happened to our cluster?

Speaking of the AT cluster, I may have more 775dual-VSTA motherboards to donate... I bought 12 of them, sold one of them, gave away one of them, sold another one, and have a shedload of them left. They just aren't selling at the flea, so I might as well donate. All we would need is a few sticks of RAM, DDR or DDR2 (board takes both, not at same time), and some E5200s or E2xxxs, and we could have some half-decent crunchers.

Edit: Whoops, sold one at the flea. Still have a pile of them.

Thx for the post!! I wonder, since I am new to the DC community, how many people actually have racks like this and how many are more along the lines of hodge-podge setups of computers all over the place?
