Has EA ever released a Bullfrog Studios gaming compilation?

I was playing around in Theme Hospital a little this morning on my laptop, and started remembering all other cool Bullfrog games that came out in the 90s, the Dungeon Keeper titles, Theme Park, Syndicate, Magic Carpet (on a lesser scale obviously, but still a wicked cool series), and Populous. All those games as a single DVD compilation for $30, I think, would be a decent seller, especially if they spent a little time updating them to run in XP/Vista.

Ahh, the memories...

I would as well, It sucks that EA killed them. The Dungeon Keeper games were always my favorites.

RIP bullfrog.

Honestly, I'm glad EA hasn't done anything with their IP. A compilation would be nice, but any sequel they released would just be EA shatting on their corpse.

Fixed. Compilations from EA suck terribly too.

Case in point, the Westwood/C&C collection... utter garbage

I still play Populous The Beginning. It is one of my favorite RTS games of all time. I would love if they re-release it to make it compatible with higher resolutions.

My DKII CD fell off the top of my book shelf a few months back and shattered. Since bullfrog went under pretty soon after it came out, the game still needed a few patches but with a lot of arm twisting I could get it going on a modern machine. That was a pretty good one, although I missed how the creatures grew up from little guys like in DK1.

Not really...the Last Decade compilation of C&C Games was pretty well put together, considering you couldn't play any of the C&C games before Tiberian Sun on XP :p

It really was, I played it for hours and hours on my Amiga.

It's a shame that companies like Bullfrog who produce quality games get bought by crap publishers like EA and then lost to consolidation. Peter Molyneux has produced some great games since founding Lionhead Studios, but while I get easily bored with games like Black and White, for some reason I can sit and play through Theme Hospital over and over and never tire of it. I didn't care for Fable or The Movies either. While the idea of Fable in development was appealing, the sacrifices they had to make to meet the ship date really hurt the title. I hope they don't make the same sort of mistake with Fable 2, but it's still not going to be the type of game that will make me sit and go, "Holy crap, this is seriously some of the most fun I've ever had!" like I did 10 minutes into Dungeon Keeper.

I've got the original MC/MC2 and DK/DK2. It's a shame the games were rushed out, especially MC and MC2, those games needed more work to iron out the nasties.
