Has CoD 4 come out

I read that Call of Duty 4 Modern Warfare was coming to OS X.

Its not on the CoD website and it appears a 3rd party company is doing it. Is it out? Does anyone know when its coming out if not?

Is it going to run under an emulator or will it be native? If its an emulator we can assume it will suck like all FPS emulated games on OS X :/

It's being ported by Aspyr (they've done Prey, Guitar Hero III, and many more, plus they're working on Enemy Territory: Quake Wars, also). They seem to be a decent company. Prey ran well, but haven't really tested any of their other games.

It's supposed to be out in May, but I don't see an actual release day on their site. :/ Go figure.

Do you know if its native or are they emulating? If its native it could have a shot, but if its emulated (Like BF 2142) I assume it will be laggy and crappy.

I'm not seeing a confirmation whether it is emulated, or native. I know that it's for Intel only, which could be a good sign. I say give the demo a whirl when it comes out and see how it runs. Prey worked very well, so did GH III, so I think CoD4 will be great.
