Has anyone written a custom custom thing for firefox to streamline the forums?

I've got a 17 inch monitor and would love to hide the 'my menu' 'buddies 'favorites' stuff on the side and 'just' display the forums.

I remember someone did it a while ago, and then it stopped working or something.

Just curious.

notfred, I used your script, and I have the latest firefox and the latest greasemonkey, and when I go to anandtech it slows down considerably - loads the forum - hangs - then after hanging a moment, then the sidebar disappears. Weird.

Hmm, I had this problem the first time the forums loaded in a browser window, but on any refreshes or loading a new pag it would be fine. I haven't checked it out in a while, though.

I don't like how it loads the page normally for a split second, then gets rid of all the extra crap. I'll use it for a while and see if I like it more, thanks for making it.
