Has anyone watched Spaceballs only as an adult and thought it was funny?

I think the biggest issue is that the main characters, Bill Pullman and Daphne Zuniga are just not really good comedic actors. If you had better leads it would have worked better than it did. Not a huge fan of Rick Moranis either.

However I liked it and still laugh at most of it.

I was never a big fan of Space Balls. Young Frankenstein, however, was genius. I am not even a big Gene Wilder fan, and I liked that movie.

Yeah, I didn't see it until a couple years ago, actually. It was silly, poop-joke funny. *shrug*

I was somewhat bored the first time I saw "Young Frankenstein" and thought "Spaceballs" and
"Blazing Saddles" just sophomoric and slapstick (NTTIAWWT) But the older I get and the more times I see clips and reruns, the funnier I find them.

As with any comedy, the mood you are in when you see it determines how funny you will find it.

Im still waiting for "Jews In Space".

Never got Spaceballs but Young Frankenstein and Blazing Saddles are great.

Mel Brooks was the most effective anti Nazi there was not by building them up with the evil they did but by pure ridicule.

Pretty much describes people trying to find something wrong with Spaceballs:

If I have to quote the scene, you haters have already lost the argument.

I didn't think it was funny as a kid so nothing has changed for me.

I first saw it as an adult. I found it a heck of a lot funnier than, for a recent example, Neighbors. Also, since much of it is a parody, a lot of the humor would be lost on someone who hadn't seen Star Wars.

Much? All of it is parody. Parody on sci-fi in general, although I agree the vast majority is Star Wars.
