Has anyone used the ASUS Update utility to update the bios? Does it work????

I am asking because i saw that there is a new version of my bios and i would like to install it. And i want to know if anyone has used the Asus update on their (Asus) mobo to install it... thanks guys

I've heard lots of horror stories from others trying the Windows utility to update their BIOS. My recommendation would be to just use the "normal" way with a boot disk in DOS. A quick search at AMDMB Asus forum shows a mixed bag of reactions to this. Some say no trouble but many warn to stay away from it. Looks like a crap shoot to me. Good Luck either way.
