Hey! i was just watching some TV and was wondering if anyone has used this device they call the "AB Tronic"... its supposed to send waves to your muscles to contract them and its supposed to be the equivalent of 600 sit ups in ten minutes. It sounds like it would work from the scientific aspect but i was wondering if anyone has actually tried this product out...

Thanks!

My wife, who used to work in a rehab clinic in a hospital, said they would use something just like these on invalid patients to keep their muscles active so they didn't atrophy. The doctors said it would keep the muscles at their current condition but could not make them stronger.

You can get much the same effect by sticking a fork in an electrical outlet, just dont give in to the temptation to let go.

I see this crap too on TV, it's got to be nonsense.

I can't believe all of the infomercials that get shown on cable TV. Too much junk is being peddled. But do you want to know what's really depressing? Watching "Wild On" with Brooke Burke on E!, falling asleep during Wild On and then waking up to an infomercial a few hours later.

this is old and phoney. apparently they just took the advertising from being buried in the back
of some muscle mag to the infomercial level. this is better marketing that should suck in more
of the uninformed and ill-educated to earn serious loot for the creators. there must still be
a kooky idea left in those back pages that could benefit from good ole informercial.
