Has anyone used Costco to buy a car?

Just wondering - is their car promotion worthwhile? My brother is looking to buy a Santa Fe, and I gave the dealer associated with the Costco discount a call and he said to come in and talk to him. Has anyone used Costco for buying a car (or the vacation packages for that matter - thinking about that for the Mr and me)?

Any input is appreciated!

THANKS :)

How/where can you find more info on this? Are they really cheaper than most dealerships?

Hah we did something like that. We had some kind of voucher from Costco that we were allowed to redeem at the Toyota dealership.

no on ever needs that much, but at costco its still cheaper than buying a small size @ ralphs.. I get the couple pound things of Country Crock from costco... and i acutally finish those in a few weeks

The Chicago Tribune had an article in the Travel section this past Sunday concerning Costco's travel agency. The article basically said that you are going to save some money using them. The following are what the article came up with (costco savings versus other travel agencies)
Rental car: $22 cheaper
Cruise: $220 cheper
Hawaii vacation: $535 cheaper
They said maybe AAA or AARP would have similar prices, but other than that, it was "substantial, but not stupendous values."
