Not sure if this is the right place to post this but I didn't see any other real good spot.
I can't delete files on the server (local disk) after I do a backup to tape. If I try to delete the files manually (in explorer) I get the message "access is denied" "cannot delete xxxx.xxx the source file may be in use". I can how ever go in under the ArcServe manager and "Purge" the files from the machine.
Is there an option I missed somewhere that I need to set so I can backup all data and still be able to delete local files on the drives manually through explorer?
I hope I am asking the right question. If not please reply and I will clarify, this is my first experience with Arcserve.
Thanks
