Meh I used it a while back when it was a free service. Not bad but I don't need it for 2 reasons:

1) I have two separate servers (local) I can save backup data to
2) I have a remote server that I can backup data to as well

Really unless your media files are absolutely critical you're just better off burning them to a DVD or getting an external hard drive.

I used them back when they were free. Seemed fine. Deeply unsnappy by local disk standards; but that is more your connection's fault than anything.

I used x-drive back in '93. Back then it was a server program you loaded on your own Unix box and a client for the PCs. It did the same thing as this version except you used your own server.

do you use this and how easy is it.

if it is rossman approved, then you MUST use it for some reason.

I recently signed up but haven't used my account yet. We plan to use this to backup GottaDeal.com and my other domains. I might upgrade to their reseller account so I can offer small backup hosting accounts to others. Thanks to Terry of SonataWeb.net for the excellent recommendation!

It's pretty tedious and a PITA to backup cPanel to your home PC every day. I like doing it automatically using rsync. After you sign up they send you a nice and easy "how to" guide. I'd like to figure out how to stagger backups, I'll probably contact their support to ask them.

Here are some other choices

Hope that helps :)
