Has anyone tried to overclock with the Intel d815eea mobo?

I almost bought the ASUS cusl2 mobo b/c of all the glowing reviews, but Intel's d815eea mobo has almost the same specs(minus 1 CNR -- big deal). However it hasn't got as much coverage as the ASUS. Why? Does the ASUS lend itself better to overclocking?

Any Intel motherboard cannot be used for OCing, there are no jumpers/BIOS settings to increase anything. If you want to OC, use any motherboard other than the ones made by Intel. =)

I'm not sure I understand your exact meaning. But anyway, Intel mobos are not generally made for overclocking, although they are very well made stable boards - perhaps better than any others in that regard.

OTOH, the ASUS CUSL2 is the quintessential overclocker's board - just about everything you would want to tweak is tweakable - and they are also supposed to be very stable, if not o'clocked too far.

OK!! Thanks guys. I had no idea. I guess that explains the total lack of interest of Intel boards in this forum. Again thanks for helping a newbie overclocker.
