Would be great for us poor folks if this works.

wtf
i read a thread here about how some people stick them in alcohol between shaves...that definitely seems to help get more life out of them.
i don't do any of that... i've been using the same blade for the past 6 or 7 months or so... i shave with body wash (minor lather) and i seem to get as close a shave as when i originally bought it.
You must not have real man's facial hair.
A better option for poor folks would be to learn how to use a straight or DE razor. Initial investment's high, but over time it's a hell of a lot cheaper.
Oh, and /facepalm @ "your arm is made of something like leather."

I shave and manscape with my Mach3 and I go through a blade every 6 weeks.
yeah, mine's pretty worn out... but i'm still using it just fine. that gel strip is gone lol. it's just a column of razor blades and some rubber thing at the bottom now.
simply drying them off and storing somewhere dry is a huge improvement.
best part about that video is what happens when you turn on the CC beta
