I have the video and I'm going to give it a shot today. I could not locate any conductive silver laquer so I'm gonna use the auto glass defogger repair fluid. Has anyone done this using this stuff? It's supposed to work well but if anyone has some actual experience with it let me know.
Thanks.

Hi there,

Yes I unlocked my XP1900 with krazy glue and the defogger repair kit liquid. It works perfectly. You just need to be really careful about filling in the pits and scraping off the excess and take your time and do the scotch tape masking right. The masking is the most important part really. Steady hands and evenly laying down the tape is the key imho.

I didn't specifically follow the tom's hardware method. I followed another one of the guides out there but really the process is pretty straight forward: mask the L1 dots, fill the pits with krazy glue, let dry for 5 minutes, peel off tape, smooth it out with a razor blade, mask out each individual bridge in turn and coat with defogger repair kit goop, check each bridge with a magnifying glass. :)

Good luck!
