has anyone tried the swiftech MC462 HS yet?

dew042,

On paper, it looks like it is going to be the best Socket A heatsink. I am looking forward to some reviews.

Looks to be a great heatsink. Too bad that I would not like that kind of weight nor do I have the holes for mounting nor would like to supply the cash to buy the thing.

Imaginer,

Most of the new motherboards do have the holes for the heatsink, and once the heatsink is attached to the motherboard, the weight is not a problem. As far as price is concerned, it's probably the most expensive heatsink I have seen.

I am still waiting for some hardware sites to review it. My plan is to get this (or some other high quality heatsink) and a quit fat to build a quiet system. The fact that this heatsink accepts 80mm fan helps.
