Has anyone tried the chorizo at Chipotle yet?

Heard yesterday that they started serving chorizo this week (at least around here it started this week).

Has anyone tried it yet and if so is it any good? I'm probably going to try it this weekend.

Of course it's good, Chipotle doesn't sell anything that isn't top quality - sometimes the employees don't follow procedure which results in a subpar end product, but that's the problem with gourmet for $7 per entree. *slaps you upside the head*

Overrated doesn't mean I don't like it. But if I had choice between chorizo and blood sausage, why would I take the inferior sausage?

I've had it - it was pretty good. Above average for a restaurant chorizo IMO but not as good as I can find in a couple of stores near me

Yeah I've had blood sausage before multiple times and it's not even supposed to be used in the same context as chorizo.

When is the last time you have a Chorizo taco or burrito?

As a Chipotle expert, I actually think the chorizo might be a slight misstep for a restaurant for which a streamlined, barebones menu has been key to their success. I tried it yesterday and I just can't see something that tastes like breakfast sausage being a popular option.
