Oooooh yeah I forgot this is ATOT where you are only allowed to like one thing of it's kind. My bad!Chorizo is overrated. Hipsters have made it popular in recent years but it's basically salty spicy Italian sausage but not as good. Best sausage is blood sausage.

Hint what you have been getting is not actually chorizo...Chorizo is overrated. Hipsters have made it popular in recent years but it's basically salty spicy Italian sausage but not as good. Best sausage is blood sausage.

Da fuq does that have to do with the chorizo from Chipotle?Overrated doesn't mean I don't like it. But if I had choice between chorizo and blood sausage, why would I take the inferior sausage?
LMAO!Here comes the hipsters to defend it.

Yeah I've had blood sausage before multiple times and it's not even supposed to be used in the same context as chorizo. You said Italian sausage and chorizo are basically the same thing... usually its takes being a hipster to be unable to tell the difference then go onto suggest a type of sausage that would never be used in the same application...

Yeah, no. They're not the same.Chorizo is overrated. Hipsters have made it popular in recent years but it's basically salty spicy Italian sausage but not as good. Best sausage is blood sausage.
If the chorizo tastes like Jimmy Dean breakfast sausage, then that's not good chorizo.I eat Chipotle literally every day for lunch M-F, AMA.
As a Chipotle expert, I actually think the chorizo might be a slight misstep for a restaurant for which a streamlined, barebones menu has been key to their success. I tried it yesterday and I just can't see something that tastes like breakfast sausage being a popular option.
Chorizo is overrated.
