I know it's pretty new, but has anyone here used one of these yet?
I was looking for a couple of SATA enclosures, preferably with hardware RAID, when I found this:
http://www.intel.com/design/servers/storage/ss4000-E/index.htm
It's more of a NAS devies than your typical USB/Fireware/eSATA storage enclosure as it runs over ethernet. It states a 2TB limit, as well as support for 80GB - 500GB drives. I emailed them asking if those limits are hard coded as I would like to use 4 of the new 750GB drives in it, haven't heard back yet. I'd go with 4 500GB drives if that's all it supports, it would basically triple my current storage capacity as well as add RAID to the mix.
Specs:
4 hot swappable SATA drives in RAID 0, 1, 5, 10
2TB max, 80GB - 500GB drives.
gigabit ethernet
Built in FTP server.
Web interface for configuration and user access rights.
Backup and recovery application provides system backup, remote boot and recovery for Windows clients.
2x USB 2.0 connectors for connecting USB storage.
Here's a review of the features I found on google

Again, if anyone else has used one yet I'd like to know your experiences with it. I'm probably going to pick a couple up on Monday unless I heard anything seriously negative about it.
