Has anyone tried firefox 3.1 beta?

I have been using beta for a while. It seems to be faster than 3.05, but there's still bugs in it. For example, google map doesn't seem to work, it always keep on loading for me.

Nope, not yet.

When I moved to 3.0 it wasn't something to be excited over. Some improvements but as nace186 said, bugs there. I'm sure there will be bugs with 3.1. I can wait.

Works fine here but I actually use the nightlies at the moment. No major bugs to report as far as I can see with my personal daily usage.

Javascript is speedier with the new tracemonkey engine.
Private browsing mode works fairly well
And although I haven't had Firefox crash yet, the new "smart session restore" is supposed to be better. You can select the tabs you want to restore instead of Firefox restoring every tab automatically. So in case there's that one tab that's causing the crashing in the first place, you can de-select it from restoring.

Plus I'm also going to add that I have over 30 extensions installed without any problems. Google maps works here too.
