It's at http://www.espinola.cjb.net/

Here's a description of what it does:
"Bootcelerator will help you to tweak your system to decrease your boot time and system's start-up. The software will give you the option if you want to disable the Start-up Logo, Scandisk auto-run feature that slows down the booting process. By default Windows will start under 3 minutes even if you are using the latest processor. Use this software if you want to start your Windows within 30 seconds or less."

My Dell Laptop (connected to a network) is painfully slow in booting up. However I don't want to mess anything up.

Has anyone used this prog.? Any opinions?

You can probaly speed up your boot time of your Dell by going into the network settings and specifying your IP address and DNS and whatever else you can. It helped my networked systems..

You can set all of that stuff in msdos.sys. Just use notepad and edit it(have to get rid of the read only first).

[Options]
BootMulti=1
BootGUI=1
DoubleBuffer=1
AutoScan=1 <---------scandisk (on)
WinVer=4.10.2222
DrvSpace=0
DblSpace=0
DisableLog=1 <------disable bootlog.txt (speeds up boot)
Logo=0 <--------startup logo (off)
Network=0 <---------disables network login

All the tweak files do is just set these values. BTW, this is Win98SE, but should be same in other versions.
