Has anyone succesfully use Linksys EZXS55W with Win2k or WinXP?

I got this Linksys Switch EZXS55W from my friend but my comps use Win2k and WinXP.
Linksys haven't provided newer driver yet and from what I read, it does not need any driver at all.
Will it be as easy as plug in cat5 from cable modem and cat5 to each comp? will it work with both OS-ses?
