Has anyone sold 100 pk CDR's on Ebay and use Media Mail?

I was just working out shipping on a 100 pk of CDR media that I sold via Ebay and I see that Media Mail might be an option. The CDR's definitely fit the description for Media Mail, but I don't know if I could use it because of the quantity.

It sure would be a heck of a lot cheaper than sending it UPS, USPS Priority or even regular Parcel Post. I like the flat rate also to anywhere in the US.

Has anyone shipped a 100 pk of CDR's using Media Mail? If so, how much did it cost you?

TIA,

Sal

i don't think the usps normally inspects the content of your package when you tell them media mail, you should have no problem using it
the rates are posted on the web site

Thanks.. That was what I was after. I wasn't sure how much a 100 pk of CDR's weighed. I do know where to find the media mail rates.

That's cool to know because it will be easier to sell these things in the future on Ebay charging media mail rates to ship them.

BTW... I'm not in the habit of selling CDR's per se, but when I use CDR's to pad a deal in order to use a coupon or get free shipping and then end up with too many, I sell them off on Ebay.

So media mail can be used for the mailing of packages with no questions asked? I think I'll start using this more often, as it is quite a bit less expensive than parcel post.

media mail = 5-14 days...
priority = 3-5 days (good for anything <2 lbs)
parcel post = waste

for anything > 2 lbs, Fedx(my choice) / UPS..

100 CDR weight 5-6 lbs with box and packing material..
