I've seen these at school. They are 36 inches and only have a vga input. They have a crisp image and can go to about 800x600, or maybe 1024x680. If anyone has seen one of these, how do I get one and how much do they cost?

I got my Gareway 27 incher from ComputerGeeks (online and in Oceanside) for $300 a year or so ago. They also carry 36 inch refurbished.

I ended up returning mine before 30 days (I really prefer a 19" flatscreen). It was a "fair" display - best for gaming although text was (very) readable. I believe it ran 800x600 pretty well.

I've only seen two and the image quality was total crap. You can't hardly even read text on the screen.

I've seen a 31" one from a "Destination". Only does 800x600. Display quality is acceptable from 10' away, but crap up close. Can't read small text unless you have a wireless keyboard. They'd be cool public displays. The later ones that will do 1024x768 would be OK for DVD's too.

I've seen the 27inch version ones before .... the picture quality on those lqqks just a bit sharper than on my old 27in RCA tv thru Svideo. It is cool on a big screen sometimes .... I should bring my PC to the living room more often and game on the 61in TV .....

I want it to be part of a multimedia center I'm thinking about. I'd get 5.1 speakers, a nice soundcard, a dvd drive and export it to the monitor. Then I would also use it as my main computer while my family uses the other one. I wanted to get wireless mouse and keyboard and just use it on the couch. Theres one for sale at a computer shop nearby, so does anyone know how much they sold for?
