I get blue dots, vertically, usually when I view photographs on dark backgrounds. Makes it impossible to do photo editing. Games are now corrupted with blue patches of "texture" all over the place. Some games just become unplayable because of the artifacts.

Also, on Bootup, the DOS screen has garbled vertical random characters, even in the bios. Looks like "The Matrix" alittle. But it is not fun.

Help!

If you get artifacts at Boot up your Video Card has gone bad or you have flashed your video card with firmware that overclocks the card beyond it's capacity. Try an old video card you might have laying around to confirm.
