I've been searching the web and I can't, for the life of me, find the Windows XP Media Center PC and monitor combo I saw advertised on TV.

The hardware, if I remember correctly, was housed in a black aluminum ATX desktop case that resembled the more universal look of traditional audio, video and home entertainment CE.

The display was ridiculously large -- like 40"+ -- and the commerical concluded showing the screen hung on the wall all pimp style. I could be wrong, since I've only seen the commercial twice, but I seem to remember that all of this mystery media PC's parts were black. I feel like the spot ended with the svelte black stylings of the system atop an empty white background (a la the matrix).

So I have this vision floating around in my noggin, and so far I've looked at quite a few price comparison, manufacturer, reseller and general resource sites to no avail.

CAN ANYONE HELP? It was a package deal that was advertised for around $3999. Not the most enticing reward, but I have more Gmail invitations than I know what to do with ... anyone who offers a helpful clue is more than welcome to have an account ... or several. :cookie:

Link to z500 series And yes, it had a rather large display hanging on the wall, if memory serves.
 
I thought it was Dell or someone large because unless I misinterpreted the ad it seemed like a pretty killer promo so I figured it was company pushing the digital lifestyle more than the product itself ... Anyway, I checked HP's site, Dell, etc. and so far have been unable to track down a big, phat display & media PC ... saw some pretty large screens, but nothin' that dropped my draw like that commercial did. I think it was a special, combo, bundle ... somethin'. Linkage, anyone?
 
Yeah, you're right. My friend just called me and said he called Dell and, like you said, they just presented them together in the commercial. IM me with some addresses if you want any Gmail invites and thank ya, thank ya very much. 😉
