I saw it about a month after it opened when it still had the original cast. Tim Curry was King Arthur, Hank Azaria as Sir Lancelot and David Hyde Pierce as Sir Robin were the big names. Absolutely outstanding show, if you like Python and especially Monty Python and the Holy Grail you will absolutely love it. Don't worry about it being "broadway". It's Monty Python that just happens to be playing on Broadway and it takes as many shots at Broadway musicals as it takes at the Arthuruan legend. Go see it.
I'd say PG-13+, but it's been a while since I've seen it. I think there were a couple of raunchy lines and there is a bit of homosexuality. I remember thinking that it wasn't a show for children. Sorry, but I don't remember enough to accurately rate how age-appropriate it isOriginally posted by: FoBoT
what age is appropriate for this?
i have two daughters 8 and 14 that want to see it, i got them the soundtrack and they sing and dance to all the songs and they love the movie
would you rate the play PG ? or PG-13 ?
