I thought the movie was dumb. Bad acting, boring story, and all you do is spend an hour watching two people bob in the water with a lot of yelling and screaming.

By far the worse movie I have ever seen.......The only redeeming quality is that it's only 81 minutes..... And the boob shot..:)

Looked bad. Even with sharks, I don't see how 1.5+ hours of movie taking place entirely in the middle of the ocean is going to entertain me.

I had assumed that in order to fill the void, we would be seeing them attacked by not just sharks, but giant squid, jellyfish, pirates and maybe those aquatic aliens from the Abyss.

In conclusion, I recommend you watch the Abyss. Its a good movie.

My wife and I watched this Saturday night...

I assume production value was minimal - the picture reminded me of Blair Witch Project for some reason. I didn't mind it - the bewb shot inflated the rating to 2.5 stars, the subsequent 1/2 clam shot bumped it to a full 3 stars. Wouldn't watch it again though. Glad it was short.

The whole thing was filmed on digital video by one guy and his wife. There was NO crew.
I thought it was pretty good. Definitely strange and almost had a documentary feeling to it. I was surprised that it kept my attention.

Did anyone else think the slap in the face scene was kinda strange & unnecessary?

Well, not exactly the best movie ever but I don't regret watching it.

Quick question:

What was up with the nudity? I'm not complaining by any means, were they just looking for a way to bump it up to R or something though?

Although cool, the nudity seemed way outta place and just didn't add anything to the movie. You're watching, then all of a sudden.. BAM!! there's boobies. And that's it. I was like, "Huh? What just happened here?"
