Critics are quite split on this film. Time, Chicago Sun-Times and the SF Chronicle gave ABM 10 out of 10, while Salon.com and Film Threat gave it 2 and 3, respectively.

Crowe does an excellent job! Movie is so-so, but it does show how committment is suppose to be between a married man and woman.

I'm moderately interested in seeing it, so I'll probably rent the DVD sometime. Unless I can find someone who wants to see it on a cheap tuesday sometime, but I don't really know anyone who wants to see it.

saw it yesterday...it's REALLY good if you like the 'deep' kinds of movies. If you prefer to see people blasted to hell, then don't go; you won't enjoy it. But if you liked something like say...the English Patient, you should enjoy this one I did
