I said something pretty stupid to a friend on aim and he put it in his profile. What could I say to him to take it out of his pf? Has this ever happened to anyone else? Is he allowed to quote me on something if I told him to take it out?

Dude if it's between friends then just laugh it off. Who the hell cares. If it's some douchebag you don't like, that's a different story.

Is he allowed to do it? Allowed by whom? I don't think that AOL polices what is said with their software, otherwise they'd be catching hell for spying on users' conversations.

It was definatly taken out of context. The thing is, he does this to me a lot, hopefully he will listen to me this time, apparently in past experiances he said it was too funny to take out.

I asked my friend politely to remove it and he did so promptly. Thanks for the answers btw.
