No.
Define "easily explained by chance or natural process"
If it's hard to explain, then it doesn't count?

I don't think anything has EVER happened that couldn't be explained by chance / physics / science / etc. However, to be fair, If I was a supernatural omnipotent being, I would do things that would make it look like a natural process or chance rather then make it obvious that I was intervening. It can be fun to screw with peoples minds.

too often people say prayers as if they are running off thier grocery list to God, and he should just take care of it. or a wish list.

Yep.

Praying isn't a means of begging. It's a means of having time to reflect on the life God has given you.

If there is a God, why would God do favors for those people who only talk to him when they want something?

maybe we don't get an answer because we refuse to aknowledge that the answer/result is not what we were expecting. God is not our personal genie

How many people only pray when they're in trouble. When their Benz won't help em. Or how many are more concerned about what's on the masters table than the master. How many people are praising and thanking God continually before their prayer has even been answered. Or even after? How many people pray once and if it doesn't happen in 2 seconds, then that's done with?

Maybe that's why it's not working for some.

I've had prayer answered lots. Things that couldn't have happened on their own. Things that took years of continual prayer. Not all, but I've had many answered. I also know that God doesn't answer all prayer because he simply doesn't want whatever it is to happen. And I don't look at prayer as "prayer" in the sense that I only pray to ask for something done.

When I was little, my sister passed. I prayed so much that she wouldn't and she payed alot too. There was hope along teh way, we had signs that she was gonna get through, but in the end she los the battle. Since that day, I have not prayed much at all. It hurts too much too pray after that.

Yes, twice. I also should have died 30 years ago but didn't. I don't know why I was saved but there must have been a good reason.

Not sure but I don't agree with people who think prayer alone will solve anything... if anything, pray and at least do something on your own!

Correct. You pray... and have faith that you will recieve an answer.

I don't think God shames people for praying only when they are in trouble, like you are doing. I think God would consider it better than nothing.

Yes.
people will not ever believe, but my mom was diagnosed with cancer that was very agressive many years ago. she tried chemo another therapy... nothing worked. we prayed very often and asked for many masses to be said in her name.
we also met this healer (a nun) and she blessed my mom.
No joke, two days later she went to the hospital again, and all of a sudden, the mass of cancer in her lungs were gone. it was just scarred tissue.
the week before, the cancer was still there.

it could have been a conincidence, but even the doctors were baffled.

Prayer is not just about asking for something, or it shouldn't be, IMHO. It's about focusing your attention on your relationship with God for a few minutes, or however long it takes. You can use that time to ask for help, but in order to ask for help, you have to first admit that you aren't handling whatever it is on your own. If you want to skip over the part where you look at why that's the case and skip right to "I can't do it, you do it for me", then you are ignoring your own free will.
