Why would I want to? It's unbelievable at stock speeds. Just put mine in yesterday, and I am in awe... Of course, I'm coming from a single 8800GT 512mB (which was also good).
I'm sure I'll want to tempt fate eventually, but as of now I am totally blown away by the performance of this card.
As of now, my system is completely CPU limited. Can't wait for the Phenom B3!

Overclocking is not always about 'why should I' IMO it's more a matter of 'why not :)'. There is never enough, more power! I think I remember TPU got their X2 near 900 core....would like to see some user experiences aswell though.

Mine would do 850 on the gpu stable all day long, but it would hard lock up at 860 if I even thought about launching a 3D app. The memory would go to the max the slider would allow in the CCC, don't remember what it was.

Thanks for the info nitromullet my Asus came stock clocked at 825. I have read that the drivers have a problem and run the fan at low rpm's even under load and it is something ATI is working on. Did you happen to up the rpm's on your cards fan via 3rd party software when you overclocked?

I just got the 8 pin PCI connectors from Corsair for my supply because when the 620W first shiped it came with only 6pin but they have been sending out 8pin connectors to the ones that ask for them. So now with the 8pin I'm thinking were do I start for settings:)

I didn't check or adjust the rpm's on mine, but I could hear them increasing with load. The card was generally still quiet though. The whole card radiated heat like crazy... The black bracket on the back of the card got really hot. Make sure you have good air flow. I didn't have any issues with stability, so I wasn't too worried about the fan rpm's.

I had to buy an 8-pin PCIe connector from Performance PCs. I think the shipping was more than the connector.

Well nitromullet with your help I had a great starting point! I ended up with the memory maxed and 865 on the core and have ran every test I could fine and have been gaming for a coulple of days and it has been fine. I think I need to overclock my CPU more to keep up with the card now because I'm only running a duelcore at 3.2 and I know it will go up to 3.7:)
