I am looking to get either the 2.2A or 2.4A, but don't know which one to get. The price difference isn't that much anymore, so I would definitely consider the 2.4A if it will overclock well. Only reason I am not considering a 2.26 is because I have a ABIT TH7-II with Kingston PC800 ValuRAM, and I don't think I will get too much out of my memory. So how high do you think the 2.2A or 2.4A will go? Will probably get the 2.4A since they cost the same now. Just haven't seen many people get the 2.4A and overclock it, so if you have, please post your results! Thanks!!

I have been running a 2.2A for quite some time/ and that 1 clocks to 3036, on the idetical system, so far I can only get this 2.4A to 2832, but I've only been running it an hour so far/ the 2.4 seems to run hotter, but is still a very nice chip/ however, if I were looking for a chip to OC, IMHO I would go for the 2.0 or 2.2, as the 2.4, at least the 1 I have dosn't seem to want to go quite as high as the 2.2/ but if not overclocking/ the 2.4 of course is a better deal for the $$ Hope this helps.

The problem I really don't know how well my TH7-II or Kingston PC800 ValuRAM will overclock, so even if I do get the 1.8A with better overclocking potential, not sure if my board or memory will handle it. I was thinking I try the 2.2A, since they are only a little more expensive than the 1.8A. So should I get the 2.2A or 2.4A? They are at the same price point right now.

I think the comparable price betwee 2.2 and 2.4 indicates that 2.2 overclocks better, so the demand is higher than 2.4 . I have 533Mhz FSB motherboard, so, for me, it's between 2.4B and 2.26. In fact, 2.26 is sold a couple of dollars higher than 2.4B. I was told by googlegear.com sales people that it is simply the result of supply-demand relationship, which means more people are buying 2.26 for its overclockability. I delayed my order a few days, but since I am not really heavily into overclocking, I guess I will go for 2.4B than 2.26.

I would love to get the 533MHz P4s, but I am afraid that my memory and motherboard will not do much FSB overclocking. I don't even know how well the TH7II I have (which was bought at the beginning of the year) will overclock. I am taking a seriously look at the 2.2A, or just the 1.8A to save some money, and maybe upgrade to a C1 stepping P4 when they do become available. So you guys still think the 2.26B or 2.4B is the way to go?
