has anyone ordered a phone and service plan online?

they seem to be the cheapest, with good phones u can get for free, and others for -50 or so after rebates. But you have to pay like 200 up front and u get those in rebates back. (w/ service plan of course).
Same phones in the store cost u like 100 plus activation fee plus 2 yr contract, vs. 1 yr.

From my company, i can get it for 50 straight up, with 2 yr contract.

Just wondering how reliable the amazon.com rebates are? i mean, amazon.com is reputable, but dunno about any rebates.

(btw, its verizon service, with the Motorola E815 phone).

I got the Razr with a 2 year service plan w/ Cingular. Phone was 150 with a 150 rebate which I have yet to send in. Cheapest Razr I've seen..

I got a Moto V710 from aiwireless.com w/ a Cingular plan and everything came great. I decided not to keep the plan so I returned it within 15 days and only paid for my used minutes. No problems 🙂

nice... all positives so far.
I guess I'll get it online too.

I think im gonna go with amazon, cus of the name. anyone else, feel free to comment still.

when did u guys send in the amazon rebate?
It seems like it says I have to wait 60 days before sending it in...then another 8-10 weeks for the rebate. :-/

^ Yep, Gotta keep the plan like 2 months, THEN send in the rebate and wait. They do it to ensure you're paying/using the plan.
