Apparently this is a very different kind of ROM which does not use CM made by developers in China. They've actually got the FM radio working which was impossible previously and added scores of little features. The UI is apparently insanely fast with no lag and some people are thinking that this includes some of gingerbreads code although there isn't any proof. Certain menu's are still in chinese but they're being ported to english.

Cyanogen was apparently very impressed and asked the dudes in china to see if they'd like to collaborate with him and they said that they were honored to do so.
Hope this takes Android to a completely different level. The ROM although unstable is very functional with no FC's.

The last sentence is kind of throwing me for a loop....? Is it stable or not? I've heard it isn't. I'll hold off on trying it for a while.

In software lingo, unstable means non-final, non-fully tested. Doesn't mean that it'll fc your phone although it could happen. Non-stable builds can be very robust; it all depends.
This rom seems to be very robust but there have been some issues but nothing that's really bad.

I installed the Droid version. Seems to work decently. There is a lot about the modified Launcher I like, but I'm not a fan of all the apps being on the desktop. A blending of the features of the Launcher from this ROM with ADW or Launcher pro would be great.
