Has anyone in the UK been able to complete an order for the Optimus Maximus?

I wonder if anyone has been able to order the Maximus keyboard(s) from the Lebedev website.

The CC charges are processed by a company called Chronopay which I discovered is only around in places like Russia and Latvia. Both my cards were rejected, and there's certainly no issues with either card - just later that particular day I placed a ~£9,000 order from the Apple Store which went through fine.

I'm hopefully certain it's not a scam, been hacked or anything but has anyone managed to make a relatively big-ticket purchase from the Lebedev site?

hi there, £9000 for a mac, and those keyboards are about a grand, thats a hell of a system you're building!

not used that website, but have had my debit card rejected a few times. can you order that keyboard from somewhere else?

btw, my birthday is next june 😉

ps did you enter your CC number without spaces, some websites can be funny with things like that?

cheers

The Optimii(?) are for my PC's, not the Macs. I was just saying that I was able to make another big-ticket purchase without problems after the payment at Chronopay was rejected, which means there is clearly no problem with the card. I tried the usual stuff, nothing - and obviously I am the holder of the card, and it was delivering to the my registered address.

I'm just very slightly worried it's going to result in problems down the line since the payment processor is Russian - that they've got my card details now, but maybe they've been blacklisted by Visa/Mastercard and that's why my payment wasn't accepted. I know, not everything in Russia is dodgy but they haven't really worked on dispelling that impression, have they?

So I was wondering if anyone (especially in the UK) was successfully able to complete a transaction for one.

I've used Chronopay from the USA with no problems, but only for small (@ 50.00) purchases.

They are legit.
