Has anyone in the Atlanta, GA area rode MARTA lately?

We're thinking about taking a taxi to the station closest to us, and then taking MARTA to Hartsfield Airport. How long does take to go from the northernmost MARTA station to the airport, and is it safe?

45 minutes from the Doraville station. It's safe. I know a lot of people complain about it, but I've never had anyone give me a specific incident. I think it's just their 'distaste' for the crowd.
