Has anyone here used the Thermaltake Silentcat fan?

No. It's a blatant lie. Any fan that moves slow won't move much CFM. Additionally, most places randomly make up numbers and don't actually follow the ISO standard for correct measurement of the noise level anyway.

You cannot trust any Thermaltake fan ratings!!!
Thats the bottom line!!
With that said....
If you are using a fan speed controller they are not bad fans to have!!

It's been commented here many times that the TT Cat fan isn't that quiet. It's more like 40cfm @ 35dba. The slits in the sides of the fan do nothing.

I have the thing on my xp90. My PSU, vid card and case fans are loud as hell.. but I'm getting a seasonic s12-500, a zalman vf700cu, and panaflo's... We'll see if the silentcat is really that quiet or not soon.

I did a search and found nothing, but thanks for the info.
