I used it as part of my Cisco test prep. I like 'em.

A friend of mine used them for his CCNA. I looked over his shoulder for a few questions and it seemed alright.

I'm trying to find something cheeper than transcender. Although I've heard that transcender is the best.

I actually just tried using it the other night (doing CCNA). It was alright, but I found the Curriculum simulators worked better... I'm lucky enough to have found some gear cheap, so I just have my instructor whip up some things to try out..

same here. altough the boson tests are MUCH harder than the real one.

they're pretty darn good just to make sure you've studied enough.

The more sources you use, the better chance you probably have (if you study well ;)).

I actually use the Boson CCNA exam #3 as a filler for the classes I teach. If we have ~15 minutes or so, I'll bring up the test on the projector and let the group answer the questions. Anything met with more than a few blank stares and I head for the whiteboard and explain the question and answer.

(For the more advanced class, I bring up the CCIE test.

The Boson test itself is NOT a recommended path to passing the real test, just a guage to determine where you are in the knowledge and skills requirements. A measuring tool .... more or less.

Of course... though I'm not sure if a copy of the Final Cert exam counts as a legitimate "source".. ;)

They've actually reduced the passing grade required for Version 3.0.. it's at 846 or something like that... I like that i have the option of writing it in two chunks now VS the Big Mother,.. :D
