I'm usually immune to most horror movies but I'm quite sure this one would have scared the bajeezus out of me if I saw it in a theater. Just wondering how freaky it was for those who actually saw it there. In any event the girl that looked like Tia Carrere is very doable.

Yeah, I saw it in the theatre. Damn good movie. And yeah, I thought Natalie Mendoza was pretty hot in that movie too. :)

I liked this quite a bit. Bought the Blu-ray a couple of months ago and have watched it a few times since then. Good stuff.

not to be confused with "descent" (2007).

spoiler:
there's a scene where that guy from the 4400 gets ass raped by another guy.

wife and I saw it in the theater... we rarely do that but enjoyed this one a lot. Some scenes that make you jump for sure. Ms. Mendoza needs to do more movies.

I didn't really like the movie. I didn't feel any sympathy for any of the characters. I don't think the theater is the best place to see a scary movie to be honest. There's always people talking or making stupid comments during the "scary" parts of the movie. Puts you out of the mood.

I saw it and it wasn't really any different than other modern horror movies. It's more startling than scary. The best part was my family went on a cave tour a few days after my sister saw it, and she was pretty scared at just that =P

That movie was pretty messed up.

There was apparently a sequel made last year. I'd be curious to see how it goes, but it apparently is really similar in execution to the first. Main reason I'm interested is to see what the director really was intending. There was talk that what you saw in the movie wasn't necessarily what was going on. I thought it was sketchy and maybe people reading too much into things, but it was plausible. Of course I'm not sure that the original writer or director was involved, so I don't know that it was anything more than a cash-in.

I thought it was well done though.

i had a post ranting about good phychological thrillers (descent/sunshine) turning into stupid monster flicks. WTF is that about?

unfortunately, i couldnt find it :(

My comment about the movie itself:
