Has anyone here ever heard of Denison University?

I applied upon word of mouth advice, and I got in today. I would give it less thought, but I get a 50% scholarship, and I've heard that it's a good school.

Anyone here alumni/know alumni? I know it's a long shot, but ATOT has never failed me.
 
I live about a half hour away from it. I've been past it once or twice, but I don't know anyone who went there. It's in a nice little town and it's a very beautiful school.
 
Small school in my home state of Ohio. My old HS typically sends a few kids from each graduating class there. I think there was a kid a few houses down from me who went there, but I'm not sure. It has a good reputation in Ohio, but I don't know that it carries much weight out of state.

I don't know about the out-of-state reputation of Denison, but I do know that it's a respected school in Central Ohio, at least. It's not terribly far from where I live. My sister's boyfriend is a student there, and is studying (something related to chemical engineering). He really likes it there, I'm told. I can't remember which ones, exactly, but I know that a few of the administrators for a school district I used to work for are alumnis of Denison, and they encouraged students to apply there.

Those SAT's are pretty respectable.

I have never heard of it, but then again i live almost 1000 miles from there.

Seems like it has pretty stiff qualifications, that's a very high avg GPA.

Now I want some chili, dammit
 
Just make a college visit and examines yourself to see if it suits your needs.

I have a friend who goes to Denision.
