Has anyone here ever fixed a squeaky vent?

I bought my friend's 2009 C 300 Sport.

It's quite excellent, much more fun than I expected. I've been driving it exclusively the entire week. The only issue it seems to have right now is an occasionally squeaky vent on the passenger side. Its not overwhelmingly bad but certainly a little annoying.

I googled the information and the answers were mostly directed at the blower motor. Many people stated to just live with it until the blower motor needs replacing. I'd rather not do that.

Is this a hard repair for to do without the aid of a mechanic? I haven't even begun the research for youtube do it yourself videos yet.

Blower motors are usually mounted under the dash on the passenger side, next to the cabin air filter, and are usually fairly easy to get at.

And they're usually not that expensive either.

But it's a Mercedes, so I could very easily be wrong on both counts.
