Has anyone here ever been to Hong Kong? Panicking.. slightly.

Last minute changes in my plans have prevented me from staying in my buddy's dorm room while visiting him at HKPU.

Has anyone had any experiences with hostels in/around the kowloon area? Preferably with easy access to the light rail stations?

There's a Tsim Sai Tsui railroad station, close enough to there.
Otherwise there's a bunch of hotels in Mong Kok area near the Mong Kok station. Like YMCA in Yau Ma Tei.
