If so what part?

What did you do there?

How would you feel if you got called to go and fight in a war?

I'd be afraid, but proud to defend my country from these bastards. However, I'm too old now.

I'd be glad to serve again if I could because I'd be trying to help preserve lives but I had a spinal cord injury during Desert Storm so can't. If I could even man a triage station though I gladly would but doubt they're going to recall disabled officers.

US Air Force.
Polished nuclear cruise missiles during the Cold War.
I'm not sure what the USAF would need me for since they deactivated the nukes I used to work on, but I'd go if called upon.

I still bleed blue.

You can take a man out of the Air Force, but you can't take the Air Force out of a man.

I am getting older but I know the job.

As a side note:
Freedom isn't free. Someone (thoses who serve) must sacrafice their freedom (the military takes most of your rights) in order to protect our, rights, values, Country. I believe we should have a form of conscription, where everyone has to serve in the Military. There is almost nothing I find more repulsive, here as of late, as people who have never served demeaning our Military and those who serve.

Officers can always be recalled. Reactivated once and also put on standby for Desert Shield.

For safety's sake. Because I'm still in halfway waiting to do the same job (reserve) and the mention of the title of my MOS usually raises some eyebrows--attention that is mostly unwarranted but it's still something that might make me a target

There is almost nothing I find more repulsive, here as of late, as people who have never served demeaning our Military and those who serve.

I agree wholeheartedly
