They advertised in the SI Swimsuit Issue to give you "free" sunglasses, some over $200, if you pay P&H, since this is their "North American" market launch. The problem is, they give a web site "futurieuro.com", but the site is nonexistant. Doing a WHOIS looking, you get this.

It seems kind of fishy to me. My brother is about to send them $19 for a pair of sunglasses and while their ad looks good and flashy it seems a bit odd that I have never heard of these guys; never seen anything about them before; and am unable to find any web site even describing them.

What do you all think?

these are really common, and you hafta judge for yourself if you want to pay 19 bux for a pair of sunglasses. regarding the quality? I know a friend who has em but I wouldn't expect too much...thing is, a pair of sunglasses is a pair of sunglasses if you take care of them...usually I use my sunglasses to match the outfit i am wearing so low cost sunglasses are a good idea if you want to present yourself nicely :) (i'm not gay btw)

but usually these companies do deliver, and just tank u on shipping.

Elemantal007,

It's a mailing service, hence the name Accumail. They collect the names for a nominal charge (the $19 S&H fee) and then resell them later to companies which are looking for people who "Like to try new products" since obviously you sent in for theirs, they have proof of that to the companies. Companies pay huge amounts for lead lists like this.

If you want to be on a mailing service list, go ahead and sign up! The sunglasses are just a gimmick, you will probably never ever see that brand surface.
