Has anyone heard anything about the new Kenwood VR-6060 reciever??

I am in the market for a new reciever and the Kenwood VR-6060 caught my eye. It retails for about $500. It has nice features, I just want to know if it is a quality reciever.

I would stay away from Kenwood receivers. I owned the top of the line VR-1080 a few years back and it was not that great sound quality wise. For $500 you can get a nice Onkyo. The midrange Pioneer's are nice as well.

Well, it depends on what you're looking for really......the Kenwood"s aren't bad (SOVEREIGN), but Flashram's right, there's plenty of other receivers in your range.....first one that comes to mind is the one I'm looking at, the Onkyo 600. It's at $450 with free shipping at onecall.com, it's one nice receiver. Maybe you should list off some of the features you're looking for?

Agreed on the Onkyo- also check out Yamaha and Marantz.
